Welcome to

MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO

DESTINATION INFO:

Located approximately 1550 meters above sea level, in between the Brenda Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella glaciers, the northern Italian village of Madonna Di Campiglio awaits.

With a full 1000m of vertical decent and more than 150km of slopes, it is no wonder why many ski and snowboard enthusiasts chose this particular resort for their winter holidays.

Madonna Di Campiglio’s ski areas are connected by lifts and pistes in order to join the 4 neighboring areas: Groste, Spinale, Pradalago and Cinque Laghi. Additionally, you may reach the resort of Pinzolo by lift, which has a separate but worthwhile ski area of its own.

The village is without a doubt, picturesque with a unique charm to it. The center of the resort is car-free, and you will find many boutique shops, cozy bars, and various food options, from small, family-run eateries to Michelin awarded restaurants. The highlight of Madonna Di Campiglio has to be the resorts’ frozen lake which adds to the overall appeal factor.

APRES SKI:

Madonna di Campiglio’s pedestrianized center is the perfect place to take a late afternoon or early evening stroll. The town itself is built in a way where you will find many options for après ski life. What could be better than enjoying a cold beverage after a long day on the slopes?

If you are looking for an ice-cold draft beer and homemade traditional Italian flavors, then a visit to Home Stube will definitely be worthwhile! A warm and welcoming place that through its attention to detail, will manage to offer you a memorable experience.

For all the dedicated meat lovers, we highly recommend visiting the Al Sottobosco SteakHouse Churrascaria! Here you can find prime cuts of meat, sourced and carefully selected from the best farms in the world.

The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the Churrasco, a type of Brazilian BBQ featuring several kinds of meat, sliced directly from large skewers and marinated for 24hours with herbs and spices. A mouth-watering indulgence not to be missed!

For a night out, we recommend visiting Piano 54. A chalet-style nightspot that serves quality cocktails and spirits. After hours the establishment turns into the Des Alpes Mood Club, a late night club, renowned for its guest DJs and live music.

Madonna Di Campiglio Ski Terrain – Beginners

Beginner skiers will feel at ease whilst in Madonna Di Campiglio as there are many ski schools and various blue slopes for them to ease into. We recommend the beginners area in Folgariva, around the Monte Spolverino and Malghet Aut. There you will find different structures such as moving carpets, button lifts and chairlifts which will easily transport you to the easy slopes. Another area we recommend for rookies is in Pinzolo, specifically at the Pra Rodont middle station.

Madonna Di Campiglio Ski Terrain – Intermediate

One could say that Madonna Di Campiglio is the perfect location for intermediate skiers as there are many pistes that cater to their needs. For those who seek more gentle runs, we recommend the Groste and Pradalago sectors, where the long, easier trails are located. For the more confident skiers, the steeper runs, run along the front side of Monte Spinale, at Cinque Laghi at the lower part of the Folgarida area and in Pinzolo.

Madonna Di Campiglio Ski Terrain – Experts

All in all, Madonna Di Campiglio doesn’t have that many black pistes, but an advanced skier can still surely experience an enjoyable run. The steepest slopes in the ski area descend from Monte Spinale down to the village level, while in the Pinzolo area you may find a few more challenging runs. We recommend checking out Canalone Miramonti, a short and steep route at the end of the 3 Tre World Cup Slalom run.

Madonna Di Campiglio - Snowboarders

Madonna Di Campiglio is often referred to as a snowboarder’s paradise. Featuring two snowparks, one located in the Groste area in Campiglio and the other in Pinzolo, snowboarders of all levels will definitely not be disappointed. Firstly, the Ursus snowpark, with more than 50.000m2 of terrain with specifically suited facilities for all kinds of jumps and tricks, it is no wonder why it is considered to be one of Europe’s finest snowboarding parks. Alternatively, the Ursus mini park in the Pradalago area, caters to the needs of beginners as you will find easier features and snowboarding schools. In the neighboring Pinzolo, the Brenta Park awaits snowboard enthusiasts with many features and structures such as modules, jumps and pipes.
