Verbier is a charming resort with a vibrant atmosphere located in the southwest of Switzerland, bordering France on the west and Italy on the south end.  
It is part of the largest ski area in Switzerland, the Four Valleys, which is linked to the resorts of Bruson, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz and Thyon, offering in total more than 400km of slopes for winter sports enthusiasts of all kinds.
Considered to be one of Switzerland’s liveliest resorts and renowned for its fantastic range of pistes, diverse terrain, snow secure slopes and constant supple of sunshine, it is no wonder why Verbier is highly popular amongst the rich and famous.
The quaint, little village will for sure enchant you with its slate-roofed chalets, its vast choice of vibrant nightlife and high-quality restaurants, all while located at 1500m, offering breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Massif des Combins.
Apres Ski
Verbier has a strong reputation regarding its lively apres-ski life, with a multitude of vibrant establishments whether you are looking for a raunchy night out or alternatively, a quieter, low key venue to enjoy a drink.
Located in a commanding position over the main square, the Farinet hotel is an apres-ski bar, a lounge bar and a club all in one. Offering exotic cocktails, beer on tap and live DJ sets, this venue caters to all needs.
One of the Alps most famous and notorious nightclubs is without a doubt the Farm Club. Otherwise known as Verbier’s most expensive playgrounds, this establishment is favored by many high-end clients and celebrities. Retaining a sort of 70s glamour feel to it, a visit is worth it for the novelty value alone! You will definitely not be disappointed.
Situated at the top of the Rouge lift and easily access by the shuttle bus from Verbier, Le Carrefour restaurant is open daily from 9am until 10pm and offers many high-quality menu options all carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. The highlight of this restaurant has to be the legendary homemade rosti.
For a more upscale experience, you must visit the Les Chottes restaurant. The establishment is quite impressive, as it is a 100-year-old converted barn next to the Les Chottes draglift. There are also two sun terraces, one of which is reached through a snow tunnel. The menu features local specialties and Swiss cuisine, and you can accompany your meal with quality wine.

															Verbier Ski Terrain – Beginners
If you are a complete beginner, we recommend staying in the nursery areas, where you may take advantage of the magic carpets and ski lifts. The three nursery slopes are all easily accessed from the center of the resort and can be found in close proximity to one another. Home to the longest magic carpet in the whole of Switzerland, Les Esserts is a popular spot for learners and families as it features long, gentle slopes and a convenient access point next to the Hameau bus stop. Once building your confidence at Les Esserts, you may progress to the Le Rouge ski area, where you will have access to slightly more inclined slopes – perfect for testing out your newly-acclaimed skills.
 
															Verbier Ski Terrain – Intermediates
In the Attelas and La Chaux sectors of Verbier, you will find a good selection of intermediate runs which give access to the principal ski areas such as Mont Gele and Mont Fort. Here the majority of pistes are good reds with a couple of high-end blue alternatives
 
															Verbier Ski Terrain – Experts
For the more experienced skier, Verbier features many expert and advanced runs including some spectacular adrenaline-inducing off-piste opportunities. If you are looking for a challenge, try out the Tortins runs- a stomach-churning 700m vertical, which covers the distance from the top to the bottom of the Chassoure gondola lift. Another one worth mentioning is the Mont Fort, which is considered one of the toughest runs as it is located in the highest point of the area. Take the cable car up to 3,330m and then head down the steep slope. The sensation is liberating and freeing.
 
															Verbier - Snowboarders
Located on the sunny La Chaux and with easy access through its own Chaux Express chairlift, the Verbier Snowpark is favored by snowboarders and free skiers of all levels. Offering guaranteed snow and sunshine at an altitude of 2.250m, this snowpark features a multitude of diverse and varied elements, such as rails, boxers and kickers. The highlight of this park is the big Air bag where you may practice your flips and jumps knowing that you will have a cushioned landing.
